The question is who stands for American values?

American values like respect for private property, not depending on the government for a handout, etc? Those have been replaced by socialism from both parties.

Yea, those values...that sadly needs to be clarified.

EXCELLENT question.

And who flies to Kenya on American tax dollars and participates in their political process.

McCain. Obama. Biden, and Palin all exemplify the group-think and corporate socialism that have replaced freedom of the individual, property rights, and personal responsibility as American values.

So what if he did? Was he called to do this on the behalf of the United States to help ensure fair elections? He didn't do anything wrong.

Read the article in Newsweek. Or are you still fuming about the ridiculous email story that was spreading around saying that him and the guy who won the election are cousins?

And let's hear the rest of the story, !! how fair did it turn out? Not very.
With the supporters of the the loser, Obama's guy, going on a rampage and killing innocent people.
I encourage everybody to research this on their own as well. But don't rely on the biased views of Newsweek or Time magazine or CNN. You don't need any MSM.

Odingas followers killed 750 people and burned a Christian church with 50 people, many of them children, inside.

We've done our research. You haven't done your's.

We're citing legitimate news sources. You're citing nothing... seriously... NOTHING. When I've tried to find your sources, I've come across nothing but small-time conspiracy theory sites that don't hold an ounce of credibility. If this was such a big deal, why isn't FOX News, of all networks, talking about it? Make whatever comment you want about them being politically slanted, they at least do respectable and legitimate reporting. They'd feast on something negative about Obama.

If they're not covering this, then my bet is that it isn't a legitimate story.

The deduction of the last line is flawed though you may "bet" away if you like.
If they're not covering it , the only thing that can be deduced with that much given is, it's not being covered.

So would you trust the BBC?

Your source finding needs more work.

And who flies their kids to almost every event - events where they weren't even invited, participated in, and the host didn't even know they were coming - at the expense of the state of Alaska?

And there you go... but if you go to the thread where it's the same thing about Palin , those who are denoucing Obama are probably the same ones not seeing anything wrong with Palin doing it. It's total hypocrisy... at least I and a few others can put politics aside and say that both were wrong to do that on tax payer's money.

To say they were both wrong as if equal, is to ignore the idea that a person taking their kids with them on business is much more common and understandable than campaining in Kenya for a domestic terrorist and former fugitive from justice and leaving a wake of violence in your path.

The fact that Palin is being needled by the media over the tiniest of infractions and they are ingoring a mound of trash the size of Kilmanjaro for Obama is true hypocrisy and travesty.

She wasn't just taking her kids along on business. The money allocated for the travel was strictly for business purposes and for those that had actual business. To say that her kids were involved in those business transactions would be crazy, and therefore she, in my opinion, abused the ability to tax the state and use that money for her kids' travel on business trips where *no pun intended* most of the time, they had no business in going in the first place.

And I had replied to that post simply because your original argument was that he was using American Tax dollars. And here Sarah Palin was using tax dollars to fly her kids around the country with her for business purposes where again, most of the time, didn't really have a good reason to be there.

Someone who is both a Governor and a mom ... bare in mind, her travel expenses were one forth that of her predecessor's. When you elect a mom, you will have children at events, especially if she's the boss, which she is.

Edited to add:
Palin has spent far less on travel than her predecessor, former Gov. Frank Murkowski, who spent $463,000 on travel in 2006. Palin spent $93,000 last year, records show.

Someone who is both a Governor and a mom ... bare in mind, her travel expenses were one fifth that of her predecessor's. When you elect a mom, you will have children at events, especially if she's the boss, which she is.

So you're giving her a free pass for what she did because she's a mom. There are other mothers who are governors, senators, congressman, who manage and abide by that same law that Gov. Palin was supposed to abide by. Point is being a mother doesn't give you a free pass to break the law, neither does being a father, whatever the case may be. You can't hold Palin to a double standard.

She did not break any laws ... she was well under her travel budget ... see my edited post.
