Hi Friends of The Great Master Kerrlaw!

(have to butter him up while he is gone )

When I sat at my computer today, I was greeted by this affectionate love note from my dear hubby:

Dear Mom,

We trashed the kitchen stove;
It’s awash in burnt food.
I’ll clean it up at lunch
I promise – if I’m in the mood.

Oh...you better send a note back that is just as creative but cancels the "if I'm in the mood" line!!!

I just want to report that hubby cleaned his mess on the stove when he came home for lunch, even though he wasn't in the mood.

Maybe he thought cleaning the stove would put me in the mood.

Then he should have called me. I cleaned the stove top Sunday night. It was where Mrs. Qtman let the patotoes boil over. I cleaned up the mess and it did not put her in the mood. So I could have told him not to bother.

Well geez, I never knew household chores were supposed to be a turn on. Oh the things you learn around here.

Take notes....that cleaning stoves will earn you admiration and love but may not get you what you want!!!!

I dunno bout them other women folk but I REALLY enjoy seeing my Honey cooking for me, oh and him standing at the sink up to his elbows in soap bubbles washing dishes. Yeah, that is *NICE* too. He once told me he'd stand over the sink or the stove all the time IF I'd stand smiling at him like " that " while he did it.

Ezri,

I agree. When my husband helps me with chores, it melts my heart.

Me too!!! Mine is good to help around the house...guess that is one of the reasons we've been married for 24 years!!

I thought I'd make a post here to keep it closer to the top while Kerr is off spending his money buying me a nice present from the beach vacationing.
