Halloween is approaching fast (I know because I am beginning to get Christmas catalogs), so this month's theme is the thread as a treat jar. Appropriate, I believe, as my threads jars are often filled with sweets, salty delights, and many varieties of nuts. To paraphrase Mr. Gump, life is like the Kerrlaw treat jar, you never know what you are going to get. A big Kerr jar is on the counter, so help yourselves. IF YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS ON SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT, HISTORY, PHILOSOPHY, THEOLOGY, MEDICINE, CURRENT EVENTS, POPULAR CULTURE, OR ANY OTHER SUBJECT OF INTEREST TO THE SOUTHERN GOSPEL FAN, OR ANYONE ELSE, THIS IS THE PLACE TO MAKE THEM.

Yep...several years ago, when Ben was still a toddler, and Evelyn was a baby. I love Elmo.

Will any of you be wearing costumes on Halloween? If so, what will they be? We have a big kids event on that day and I think I'm supposed to dress up. I have no idea what to wear. Something clever and creative. Any ideas???? Maybe I'll find a skeleton costume, since I work for a chiropractor.
