Denizens,

The other thread got 'corrupted' (see what you did??? ) so I'm starting this brand-new, uncorrupted, squeaky-clean one.

You still have to believe that the earth is round, rotates on it's axis and revolves around the sun. That's just a given.

Welcome!

Edited to put the correct smace in the list.

Thank you Lioness. You're the best!

I told Fritz about it so no one else needs to bother with emailing him.

Okay, I found ya and I'm re-subbed. I got your reply about The Notebook just before the . . . er . . . corruption. Thanks.

Did part of your mind disappear along with the thread...

...or have you not been paying attention?

Man the old thread had so much material to use when I wanted to quote something out of context, now what am I going to do?

corruption follows the evil of this earth....

Yes, but just think, now we can repeat ourselves and no one's the wiser.

Or am I the only forgetful, redundant one who thinks that's an advantage?

by the way, the number of Christians who are refusing to believe that Earth rotates around the sun, etc. is growing.

I'm sad the old thread got deleted. There were a lot of pearls of wisdom there.

At least we can start over though!

That is true. There was a lot of wisdom in the old thread. But the wisdom is still here, and now we get to share it all over again!

So with a new thread do we need a new word of the day?

The bright side is if I keep losing post at this rate by the end of the year I'll be New Member. Will the past be forgotten then? Maybe Kath can answer that for me.

I was going to go and read the old posts when I was bored, so I could get to know weveryone in here better.

Now I can't.

Does anyone else here love Gene Kelly or is it just me?

I'm watching An American in Paris now, and am just in love. I also love Singin' In the Rain - that's probably my favorite movie of his.

May be a good thing. If you learned too much about some of us it would scare you off.

I'd think you'd rather be super than new!

At least Mindy Sue still has enough posts for her custom avatar.

Well of course I would. But if push comes to shove a fresh start might be good too.

Oh, and Mindy, I plan on moving the old thread back into the viewing area, after everyone has found the new thread. Sometime this week I'm sure. I just didn't want everyone clicking on the old thread and getting confused. So you'll still get the chance to read it.

Kath I was celebrating my 34th Anniversary and missed it. Can I ask what happened to the old thread?

WOW! congratulations.

All I can say is it got corrupted. But it's all fixed now and won't happen again, of that I am sure.
