Mmmm, last night we had shake n bake chicken (and I helped...lol), steamed broccoli, and Artisan Asiago Cheese Bread. It was good. Tonight is going to be an easy night, mac n cheese and hot dogs. Yeah I know, healthy huh? lol. Agapepetos- Thank you for that clotted cream recipe. It does look kind of hard, but I am willing to give it a shot for some really good clotted cream. Jenny-I should have brought the children and I to your place for dinner. Wow, you know how to cook.

Last night was chicken and peppers in white wine. Tonight I'm hoping to go out to dinner with my kids, otherwise it will be black beans and tomatoes over the leftover rice from last night!

Z, have you done Texas Tacos? It's fritos, then rice, then chili, and then all the taco toppings, just on your plate. Remarkably, I first had these in Texas, lol.

ORIGINAL: MrsTracy72 We already have this exact thread in the woman's folder. Some of us ain't allowed in thar. Tonight will be either butterflied leg of lamb marinated in caesar dressing then grilled, fusilli with garlic butter , fresh sweet corn. Or hot dogs and beans if we visit my father at the hospital. Dessert is Breyer's vanilla and chocolate ice cream.

That's quite a swing there, Bill - either a fancy leg of lamb or hot dogs? LOL! Tonight is chicken mac & cheese (homemade).

That sounds very yummy...right up my alley. Of course there's plenty of chili left, so maybe I'll add the other stuff to change it up a bit tomorrow night. Thanks!

Bill- what did you choose the lamb or the dogs? I gots to know...lol. We had hotdogs and chips. Do you have a good lamb and mint recipe? I had that once at a restaurant, and lovededed it. You can PM me if you do. Thank you in advance Spitzu- your "lazy" dinners, are healthier than the ones that I make alot of times when I am working at it. What on earth is quinoa? Ms. Giggles- I confess, I cheated. The Asiago cheese bread I got from the grocery store. I do want to learn bread making though. I'm sorry punkin, I can't help you there. Tonight we are probably going out to dinner, been a while since. I loves me some Applebees..lol. Kids eat for 99 cents tonight too...woo hoo!!!

That's ok I found a recipe for asiago type bread so i will try it soon. I hope to make something similar to panera's. YUM! Bread takes practice, the only difficult bread is sourdough. Start with a basic white or french bread.

Ms. Giggles, I love Panera. They have the bestest black bean soup that I have ever eaten. Thank you for the bread tip, I need to give it a shot. Do you have any 'secrets' you are willing to share with me about the bread making? That would be wonderful.

Yeah well, one was for cooking at normal dinner time (the lamb), the other was for if we got home too late to eat a real dinner. We ate the lamb if anyone really cares. Anybody willing to gamble on what's on tonight's menu?

I'm thinking chicken curry and rice (which is unreasonably expensive!).
