I thought that this would be a fun idea. Just tell us what you are serving for dinner tonight, and it might help others with ideas. What do you say?

On our menu: Smoked pork chops, buttered noodles, and lima beans.

Last night was grilled chicken, sauteed garden veggies, and mashed potatoes.

Tonight will be something with the buffalo I have thawing. Not sure what yet.

And I wouldn't be able to tell y'all that I had a kolache and soup after I got home last night if this was confined to women only...

Chorizo & Eggs.....it's supposed to be 100 outside today, so I'm trying not to get the house hot by using the oven or multiple burners.

Since I don't have all the ingredients for ground beef stroganoff, I'm making... frozen pizza.

Homemade chicken noodle soup. Thermostat went out on the oven and the part comes in tomorrow. Probably would have been frozen pizza.....

I know. I know.

I had chilli lime chicken, brown and wild rice and carrots (the carrots were from my own garden ). Never made that chicken before ~ it was gooood!

I meant to post yesterday and forgot...

Last night I made Pasta Caprese...Halved cherry tomatoes cooked with garlic in olive oil and tossed with Fusilli, fresh basil and diced fresh mozzarella. Served with a green salad and a baguette.

Tonight we're having Teriyaki chicken breasts and crookneck squash cooked on the grill. Served with couscous and a green salad.

A kolache is a Czech pastry with various fillings in it. Mine had jalapeno flavored sausage in it.

Tonight we had scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and English muffins.

It was 103/40 today, that's about as hot as it gets here. So, I made a green salad and canned soup. Tomorrow will be something similar since it will be almost as hot. Or, maybe my hubby will cook burgers on the grill outside.
