Your Tide is ahead of my LSU Tigers in one poll and behind them in another.

USC falls WOOT. how about Bama showing just exactly who is the team in the SEC. I believe they jumped AHEAD of LSU in the rankings. Roll Tide.

I really enjoyed watching Ohio State get punked by USC! My favorite team is Michigan and whoever is playing OSU.

All I can say is November 22 my friend. Be sure and watch!!!

At least America wont have to watch OSU get beat again in the National Championship game. They were an embarrassment to the Big 10.

People in glass houses . . . remember Appalachian State. OSU lost to the number one team. What was Appalachian State ranked when they beat Michigan? Talk about an embarrassment.

Yes, that was a devastating loss, but all of America was not watching that.

as for the conferences.

1. SEC
2. Big 12
3. Big 10
4. maybe Pac 10

Where's the Mountain West? They've been beating the PAC-10 teams all season!

Florida Gators are back on the proper side of the win column. Arkansas gave us all we wanted for three quarters, regardless of what the scoreboard showed. The first half was pretty sloppy with penalties on both sides. Tebow threw his first interception after 254 pass attempts without one. Then the Gators seemed to settle down and play like pre-season expectations.

Speaking of the SEC, how about Vamdy at 5 and 0! I'm not a Vandy fan, but am glad to see them doing well.

Ugh... things are looking grim for the Wolverines after their loss yesterday. 2-3 for them now. SORRY WOFMAN!

Temple hopefully will come out of the hole that they dug for themselves. Is Penn State still undefeated??? I haven't heard news about them for a while.

its only usatoday has LSU ahead of Bama. fans, ap, and espn have them number 2.

as for mountain west, if you notice i said maybe pac 10. sadly, is a lot of good conferences but until they can prove themselves among the real powerhouse conferneces yearly, i can't in my humble opinion, rate them in same league.

GRANTED any team any week can knock someone off their high horse sorta speak (( Alabama TRIED to give Ky that game sadly)) but certain conferences have the elite status sports wise.

Red River Shootout!!!!! Longhorns and Sooners!
Hook'em Horns! Should be a good game. OU is greta on both sides of the ball, but I believe QB's and defense will dscide the game. Hook'em!

Bama v Ole Miss.

Should be interesting game, Bama will pound the ball and control the Rebs.
Roll Tide Roll!!

I think LSU may have taken Florida a little too lightly, but don't be too hard on them. Florida was ready to make everyone forget Ole Miss. They played their best game of the year or maybe ever. If the Gators can keep up that intensity, good things should be in store for them this year. I, of course, was thrilled at the game and the result.

My son-in-law is really happy about the game. Now, both teams have had their come-uppance. Oh well, that's college football!

All the news around my area is currently centering around the firing of Clemson's head coach Tommy Bowden. Their season hasn't been great but his firing came as a surprise to many folks but others were predicting it after their lost to Wake Forest last week.

It's too bad about Tommy Bowden. I think there's something else wrong there at Clemson - to go from what was supposed to be a national power, in the preseason, to just another ACC team is strange.

Michigan goes on the road to face Penn State. Rich Rodriguez could be in trouble this year.

Cal beat ASU, now at 4-1 in the PAC 10 (behind USC).

San Jose State is ahead of Hawaii and Boise State in the WAC.

Stanford won--it was a sad weekend for the university, as three graduate students were in a car that plunged off Highway 1 near Big Sur

I didn't realize he was fired. I heard that he was leaving, but somehow got the impression he had quit. It does seem strange after only half a season where things aren't going just as predicted. After the success of previous seasons, you'd think a coach would at least get a full season, but this is college football.
