I'm offended I've been at the hospital a week with my baby, over our Thanksgiving weekend, and NO ONE brought me turkey or pumpkin pie!!! I'm glad we're now home, as I'll end up making my own ........

I'm offended you didn't find out from my facebook profile ... we were there from Wenesday morning until almost noon today ... and then we went to Bible study this afternoon. On the way home from there, I was rear-ended by a bus from the local Christian school. The driver was livid I called the police ... that offended me .... kids were involved, after all!

Yeah ... for the most part. My back is bugging me, but I think that's more from the awful chair-bed at the hospital taking its toll. Van is greatly dented in the back, and lots of spots are scraped down to bare metal, but we're okay. I will most likely be getting 5 new carseats from this, on top of the repairs, since once a vehicle has been in an accident, you aren't supposed to keep using the seats.
What offends me more than her upsettedness with me calling the police? The driver KNEW the brakes were faulty, but still drove the bus ... (she told the cop she knew the brakes were bad) ... AND she was planning on STILL driving the bus back to the depot. Cop insisted on it being towed.

I wanna be a fly on the wall tomorrow when she explains to the principal why she argued with the cop about whether it should be towed ... umm -- the brakes didn't work ... what else did she think would be done???
