I find them unappealing. Perhaps it's unwarranted but my perception is that she is kind of wild, probably looking for a wild guys (which I am not one of) to connect with and maybe also has poor morals. Probably some of them are actually nice, good women but my initial perception of them is negative.

I believe it can go either way. It depends on the tattoo, What is it? What does it represent? Where is it placed? Why was it gotten? How well done is it? I know a lady who has several tattoos. On her right shoulder blade is an angry elf. On her left ankle is a bracelet. On her stomach is the Rolling Stones lips logo. All three were gotten while she was a meth addict and none are very attractive nor well executed. But I also know a lady who has a very realistic and colorful rose bud no more than a half inch tall on her.... well, never mind where it's at. In one case it's a turn off because they are ugly and a reminder of a rebellious and sinful past. In the other case it was a carefully thought out and considered act and expertly done. The second case is a turn on.

It very much depends on what it is and where? I am surely not a fan of a tattooed lady at all.

I don't find tattoos attractive, but I wouldn't refuse to marry a woman who had one. Mind you, I'd be less likely to find her attractive enough to want to marry.

I'm afraid I'm with Pauley on this one. I don't particularly care for a lot of tattoos but one or 2 small ones "strategically located" would be a turn on (lol).

There are too many women with "tramp stamps" as they are called in and out of the Body of Christ now a days. I don't dig tattoos on average, however on a certain woman it can work for her. But overall, NO, don't do it ladies' it's like spray painting the exterior of the White House.

I don't find them attractive. It goes against any appearances of femininity that I would desire in a woman.

No interest whatsoever. I'd rather see my wife/girlfriend the way God created her.

I wouldn't date anyone that had one. I think they are very unattractive.

Buckifn, what if you started dating someone and later found out that she had a tattoo? Would you break it off just for that?

ORIGINAL: Mandicoot Alright, me and a friend were wondering. What do you guys think about tattoos on women? Is it disgusting and a turn off, or can they be somewhat attractive? I need answers! Now... POST! U&U You got the disgusting and a turn off right. Now remember, I was a Volunteer Protestant Chaplain in two maximum security California Prisons, and the inmates do not call getting a tattoo "PUTTING ON THE UGLY" for nothing. Now I know we are "No Longer Under the Law", as I too have taught that sermon; however it still does not remove the fact that Scripture does say: Leviticus 19:28 (NKJV) 28 You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord. Luke 22:42 (KJV) 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Yes, because if we ever became serious I would have to look at it for the rest of my life and I don't want to put myself in that situation. But I would try to find out things like that before ever going on the first date.

U&U That is exactly what we are supposed to do: 1 Corinthians 11:28 (NIV) 28 A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. The Christian Walk is a lifestyle of frequently examining ourselves, asking ourselves, "Am I in line with HIS will?" That is why I really like that expression the younger generations came up with in recent years: "WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?"

Not a fan, but I wouldn't rule out a relationship. It might give some insight into something deeper...why did she want the tatt in the first place?

Hi I'm Chuck, I want to ask you out to dinner, but first could you tell me, do you have any tattoo's on your body? Because if you do I will have to withhold my dinner invitation!

I don't think tattoo's are very lady like! But like said earlier it depends on what the tattoo is and where it is at. For me small is ok. But large tattoo's are a definate turnoff! A friend of my ex-wife, who I have known for 20 years and is very beautiful and sweet, was at my sons graduation party. I had not seen her for some years prior to the party and I was stunned to see that she had a tattoo that covered her entire back! It really did change my opionion of her! It takes away from her beauty and just don't seem so sweet anymore!

I don't like tatoos at all. After seeing one on an elderly women, I like them even less. It looked like a tumor from a distance on her arm.

I'd prefer that she not have any, but if they are already there, it's not a deal-breaker.

That's one of the primary reasons that I probably won't ever get one. So... if your girl got a tattoo, what and where would be acceptable to you? And would you ever consider getting the same tattoo along with your girl as something special? (assuming the relationship is a permanent one, because you don't wanna get a tattoo and then want to remove it a month later)

A small tattoo on the ankle can be cute. Thats about it for me. Get a tattoo together as something special? maybe, depends.
