My ex husband took our two sons out to a rock concert and for food afterwards. He seems to be changing after many years of prayer.

Our Father's day was wonderful. My daughter and her sweetheart took us out for dinner and a movie on Saturday and then on Sunday we all went to church, had a picnic at the state park and wandered along the paths in the woods. M'love had fun teasing my daughter's sweetheart. We had a great day! I so love spending time with my wonderful husband.

Out of the blue as I was in another room working on some stuff my wonderful husband comes in the room and plants a long sweet kiss on me!

We've recently moved to a rental home and he is taking care of the detailed talk-to-the-internet-provider-arrange-for-pest-control-talk-to-landlord, etc nit-noyd stuff that would drive me crazy, while I arranged the rooms.

m'love and I just moved into our rental home (house still on the market but we have some lookers). That was last weekend. Then we moved our sons into their apartment. This weekend we are moving my daughter into her next apartment so we are sleeping in our home without furniture or cable. Now we are at a Starbucks on the laptop. Only one of us can get online at a time and he just went and refilled his coffee and told me ,"take your time, go onto your forums. I'm sitting here relaxing". sigh, I know he wants to get on and play a game.

Hubby and I are list makers. If it isn't on a to do list it will often times be forgotten and not get completed. I started a to do list for this weekend. When I came downstairs Saturday morning I saw "Love your wife" had been added to the list. I thought that was so sweet!

My husband stopped everything to listen to a concern I had. Then he apologized, and he listened to me, and made sure I understood how important I am to him.
He is deployed right now, and he is just exhausted. I know how very much he loves me when he is willing to do that.

WELL -- MY HUSBAND SHOWED OFF HIS BEAUTIFUL BODY -- HE WORKS OUT ON A REGULAR BASIS
BY SWIMMING IN THE POOL
AND OH BOY -- I JUST MELTED
AND I COUNT MYSELF LUCKY
MY HUSBAND IS SO GOOD LOOKING
HE LOST HIS THREE UPPER TEETH THOUGH
BUT HE IS STILL GOOD LOOKING
WHEN HE SPEAKS AND I PEEP AT HIS UPPER LIPS
IT JUST MAKE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM MORE
IT IS SO CUTE AND JUST LOVEABLE
AND ALSO -- I LIKE HIS MUSTACH
I LETS ME CLIP IT ONCE
OH BOY -- THAT SURE WAS A PIECE OF CAKE
BUT HE ONLY LET ME DO IT ONCE

My husband and youngest son were out in the yard today learning to juggle with pins. Both can juggle balls but ds2 went out today and bought some pins and wanted to juggle with his dad. My heart melts anytime I see him connecting with our boys.

..... my husband likes to kneel and pray... and I will kneel down with him and pray silently or just listen to him talk to God....
Often he says, "Thank you LORD for my lovely wife and putting her into my life...."

My hubby and I aren't in the same state right now....
We talk on the phone everyday (he's not a computer guy)....
We actually have talked on the phone every day for about 6 months now, we've missed maybe only 2 nights.... (LD relationship at first - got married a couple of weeks ago)
He never gets tired of me... how cool is that????

I used to look at the title of this thread and, resignedly, answer "no." I never opened it, in order to protect myself. But now, I can write that my husband has done something that just made me melt.
Twenty years of marriage, and much of that was him working hard to be a "good" husband, to make me happy, while he would not work on himself. He needed to work on himself.
Well, over the last of those twenty years, he began to "get it." He has worked on himself and become the man I thought I had married, the man he had portrayed himself to be when we were "going together."
We celebrated our 21st anniversary, and I was able to look him in the eyes and say, "I really respect you," and tell him in detail why. He has not only worked on his issues, but he has grasped and put to work, not wavering, the things he has learned. He has not gone back on a single issue: once he learned a concept, he stepped forward with purpose and reached for the next. He is like one climbing a craggy mountain, taking hold of each rock with grounded strength, conquering it, and moving forward and up.
He deserves the credit for his work and his progress, and G-d deserves all the glory.

My husband sent me a dozen roses with a card that said "Just because..." Amazing because about 3 years ago I was posting about his mid life crises/our separation/his affair.
I had him move out (would not live with him when he was cheating), stayed his friend, NEVER told the kids about his indiscretions or spoke a bad word about him, encouraged him to get counseling, got some myself, PRAYED for God's will... and now..just because...

I have recently started a new job. I now get up at 4a.m. We were getting up at 5 on weekdays and 7 on weekends. Even this weekend when I got up at 4, he got up and fixed me coffee, etc.

The thing that makes me melt is that he always tells me that I was sent from God to him. 
The other thing that made me melt was last night. We were working on a hobby of ours that we do, and I couldn't do it right so I said I was going to quit doing it. He asked me to come sit by him on the couch and told me don't give up that he will be my backup on finishing the project if I can't get the job done. He told me that he knows I get down on myself when people make fun of me or laugh at me for not doing this right, but that he will always be behind me rooting me on.

Oh, my husband melted my heart. He looked at me and said that there is nothing more that he wants in our marriage; it is now everything he ever desired. Wow. We've worked long and hard for this.

I love this thread and think of the posts often. We wives need to keep it going. Marriage is a wonderful gift and anyone looking at the marriage threads might think otherwise without us expressing the positive side of marriage.
In the past two days my husband really wow-ed me! I was finishing getting ready to go apply for a graveyard shift job to help us through these times and he said in a pouty/sad way "I don't want my pretty wifey to go to work..." That just made me melt.
Yesterday he walks in the door and hands me a HUGE brownie to hide and keep for myself (got the little ones something else so I wouldn't have to share).
He went to rest on the bed and motioned me over for a huge hug and told me "I don't know what I'd do without you - you keep me going" and later when we sat to look at some new photos he took out the two of me and kissed them both with a big mushy kiss! It was so funny and spontaneous - all this in front of our boys....
