I would like to ask everyone to pray for me. I went to the doctor yesterday because I was feeling run down and not able to sleep. I found out that I am really sick. Double ear infection, tonsillitis, sinus infection and the beginnings of pneumonia and if I am not feeling better by tomorrow she is going to put me in hospital only reason I'm not now is I convinced her that I had 4 kids with no one to watch them and hubby would lose his job.

Thought I would update everyone. I am feeling worse then before but I know that it is just the medicine working and getting stuff out of my chest.

Request: I don't get paid until September 25th. That's over a month away and finances are really tight.

Our contract is up and I am being told we aren't going to be laid off so please pray that they are correct.
Also pray because our requirements are changing and management might change over too.. we really had a good management team so it might be a difficult transition. Oh and that we have similar benefits. I was due a raise but not sure if I'll get it (cost of living raise would help)

Praise: I will get a small check on August 25th as I attended several in-service meetings.
Prayer request: As previously stated, my main check will not come in until the end of next month. Pray for God's provision as we are trying to figure our finances out until then. My DH is supposed to be eligible for UI; however, he has to have a phone interview (on the 25th) before getting a check. Also, I am praying that I'll get my last UI check (I have a phone interview on Thursday to see if I get it or not).

My SIL & her husband (Deena & Chris) moved west a couple years ago. Their best friend Bucky was killed in a head on collision today. His wife Leah is expecting their first child in about 6 weeks. Chris is a first responder and he was the first one at the scene, his friend was already dead. Please pray for them, and that this stress will not bring on premature labour.

Josie (my almost-9-month-old baby girl) will have tubes put in her ears and one tearduct worked on (she has already had work done on both but this one is still not working right) in one week (Sept. 9). We have to travel 2 1/2 hours away so prayers for the surgery and travel are much appreciated!

I wanted to let you who were praying know that last night my husband put his hands up at church to pray the sinners pray with the pastor.. he had also prayed the sinners pray with me earlier that day...I am praying that this is not an emotional response to the very horrible financial sitiuation that we are in and that it is true salvation. I also am asking you guys to remember us in prayer in regards to the financial sitiuation... we need a HUGE miracle. My husband my some pretty dumb decisions the past few weeks that could see us loosing everything that we have.. the house the cars and may have to declar bankrupt...but I am believing God for a miracle... there is a small small TINY chance that God can use to bring this around...I am holding onto His promise..but I have to admite I am so scared in my heart.. so please pray for my faith regardless of the sitiuation.
I know I am asking so much now but I am so desperate... I NEED God to move so that this may be an amazing testimoney for my husband and a turning point in his faith and his walk with God.
Please please pray for us.

Everything went really well yesterday with Josie's surgeries! She was under longer than we had anticipated because the eye doctor wanted to get a good look inside her eyes while she was out. They did have to insert a tube in her tear duct system and will remove it the next time we're in B'ham (in February) unless she has any problems with it before then. The doctor found some far-sightedness so we'll have her eyes rechecked in February. He said sometimes they outgrow it. But other than that, everything was great! The ear tubes went very well.
She was running a low grade fever this morning (which is expected) but doesn't seem to be in any pain.

Please pray for me....I am so scared. I have not stopped crying in days and my faith is no where to be found......I NEED A MIRACLE! in everyway.. in my heart.. in my mind....my whole house is burning down with fear and anger.....please pray for us

I have a PRAISE!!! I haven't had a drink in 38 days!!!! And I'm not struggling anymore. God has freed me from that horrible addiction!!!

I wish the same thing for my husband... he runs to cigarettes when he is in trouble.. and latley he is smoking all the time.. and does not look like he will stop this time.. he needs deliverance......God please make my husband turn to you for REAL. I could handle loosing everything in this world.. but not my husband's faith.. as he will be the example to my children. This is what scarys me the most!.. I am so afraid of tomorrow.....

My 3 yr old granddaughter does not have to go back to the cardiologist again, the atrial defect has completely closed on it's own!!!

Still having some very hard times financially.
Praise- my dd asked last Sunday if she could go to church with me. I wasn't sure what she'd think. She said that she was just going to get away from her cousins for awhile. She actually brought a book along to read during the sermon. She liked the church so much that she forgot she had the book with her.

it is our 5 year ann tomorrow. We had planned on going to this revival overnight tonight and tomorrow as there will be a preacher which I knew from Australia. due to our horrible circumstances he doesn't eally want to go but I am kind of forcing him (as always) to go with me as he will know the way better. Please pray that we don't fight all the way. We fought pretty bad last night because of his smoking. I already told him I don't want him smoking while I am with him ....maybe even for God to speak to us at the sermons... who knows!! I am really discouraged right now.. this is not how I thought I would be feeling on my 5 year ann.
please pray for us.

I have a prayer request that is kind of silly, but still a prayer request that is very near and dear
to my heart. I have a friend that I have known for a while, he is a really sweet guy, and very
mature in his faith for his age, I have always admired him and thought of him more like a
brother than anything else until here lately. Now, I have started to see him as someone who I
could spend forever with, he is so driven to live for God and he treats me like a gentleman
should, something I have not encountered much. I need God's wisdom to keep my head and
common sense before the feelings of my heart. I know I have heard from God concerning this,
but I want to keep God's opinion before my own. Please, just pray that I will keep a clear head!

My husband has a few interviews these next few days.. please pray that he gets an offer with one of them. I am now back at work and he is at home with the baby and my mum so its been very hard on him. We need the finances as well at the moment so it would be a blessing in many ways. Also please continue to pray for us for God to show us which direction we need to go.

Last week I was offered a job, and this week I found out that it has not been approved by the financial officer. Please pray that this will all work out. I am really tired of interviewing. I really need some rest in my soul about my job situation.

This is the same thing that has happened with my husband last week and this week. he is in an interview right this very moment as I type this... He really likes this job and it would be a not too much stress job like previously. Please pray that God blesses him with this job. He too is getting so disheartened as he has been on soooo many interviews already these past few weeks.
Lord - please be with Phil right now and give him favour.
