We found the house!!! It's a 2 bedroom...a little over 1400 sq ft....a rental. CH/CA....sounds like it should be good. We're putting down our "eager money" aka...deposit tomorrow and will sign the paperwork so that we have a place to live.

Now just please pray that God will continue what He has started....in the finance dept. I know He will...I have faith. It just doesn't seem like the finances are there on paper unless we are able to sell some of our things, etc.

Hi everyone! I haven't been in this thread for awhile but I would ask all of you to please pray for my family and I as we go through this tough season of declaring bankruptcy on the business we had and a divorce! Thanks everyone and I know I can count on everyone to pray.

Please pray for my soon to be Inlaws... they are going through a hard time atm and please pray for my soon to be SIL and her fiance who need Gods guidence. Please pray for me and my fiance as we deal with new challanges.

I dont need to give all detials God knows them, but if you would please pray I would really appericate it ^_^

My wonderful husband (Ron) is in his last week of his fourth tour in Iraq with the USAF (he's a pilot with a special ops unit.) For some reason, I've just been very anxious / sleepless the last few nights worrying about his safety ... he is scheduled to come home in a week, by the way.

* Please pray for his continued safety, for successful missions, and for his timely and hassle-free "out processing"

* Please pray for his travel home, including connections and layovers. (He should be on military transport until he reaches the US East Coast, then catches commercial flights home to California.)

* Please pray for my peace of mind, anxiety and worry. (I am prone to panic attacks)

And can I say that my wonderful DH is a strong man of God who is in his 25th year of military service? And that I am soooo looking forward to his homecoming?

Please pray for our friend whose wife took her own life on Sunday while he and their eldest child were at church.

She has left behind a young husband and two small children (one only a few months old).

I just got this pm from Memaw. (Kimmie) ~

Hi Just online for a minute at my daughters, my computer crashed.
Can check email occasionally there. Her o button is not there either so each time I use one I have to copy and paste it...

Keep us in prayer please, we have to move and cant find a place big enough for all my stuff.
If you would, post in the prayer list in women's only.

Things here are just falling apart. I am stressed t the limit, Rick is abut to quit his company, prayer needed.

I would appreciate it if you say a prayer for me today (Wednesday). I have a dentist appointment at 11:10 AM PST. Right now it is 2:27 AM and I am not really feeling very well. I hope after I go to bed and wake up again I will be feeling better. I would feel awful having to cancel last minute because I am scheduled for almost two hours and that would be a lot of wasted time.

Thanks for those who prayed for me this morning. I woke up feeling better, but I overslept and was four minutes late to my appointment (oops). I made it through four fillings just fine, but my mouth is starting to feel sore as the numbing chemicals are wearing off.

Donna just called and said that Brian was in an accident on the way to church. She doesn't know how bad he is, just that it is bad enough to send him to the larger hospital a bit of a drive from where they live and that they had to tear the car apart to get to him. So PLEASE PRAY!!!! She will try to update when she knows something more.

My brother's family needs prayers. He and his wife and children will be moving to Houston, TX on Tuesday. My mother is treating them like dirt for moving. My brother does not have a job out there yet. He is trying to get a company transfer (he works for homeland security) and he has an interview at the end of the month out there. They need prayers for the move. They need prayers for my brother to quickly find a job out there so that he won't be separated from his family too long. Their dd (age 8) and ds (age 5) need prayers that they won't miss their daddy too much. SIL is used to a dh coming home every night and spending time with his family. They are so much in love with each other. This is going to be hard for them.

I would like prayer for my husband and I. We're not having any problems in our marriage but I would like to have God's love shine throughout our marriage. I want our marriage to be Christ-like and for our marriage to be an inspiration to others. I guess you can say we're still considered newlyweds, almost 3 years married. I would also like prayer for myself. I want to be that woman that God wants me to be. I know I've backslid a lot but I'm ready to be used. I want to be that woman after His own heart. Please pray for my husband David as well. I know he has a big calling, he just doesn't know it yet. I want him to lose the need for alcohol in his life. I want him to be that strong Christian man he's meant to be, to be the prayer warrior in our family!

Please pray for my pastor Greg Laurie and his family.

Christopher Laurie, son of Pastor Greg Laurie and Cathe Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif., died this morning in a car accident in Riverside. A resident of Huntington Beach, Laurie, 33, served as the art director at Harvest Christian Fellowship for the past three years.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife, Brittany, and daughter, Stella, as well as his brother Jonathan. Christopher and his wife are expecting another daughter in November.

We're sitting at home waiting for a doctor to come around right now (11pm) as X has been having trouble breathing at night recently. She's fine during the day but as soon as night hits again she starts having problems again (not serious enough to take her to hospital over but definitely bad enough to get checked out - problem is that when the doctors are open during the day, she's feeling fine and no symptoms).

DD flies home tomorrow. Please pray she has a safe journey.

Sis is still in major pain and had an MRI today. Please pray that they will find the exact cause of the pain and that she will be healed.

Today is the 17th anniversary of the abortion that I had and it's been very hard for me. For some reason, this anniversary has hit me harder than the others.

We're off to a paediatric specialist this afternoon.

Please pray that they can figure out what is going wrong with X's breathing. Her Xray showed a slight inflation of her lungs but nothing that is obviously wrong so they've slotted her in between patients this afternoon (we've had a doctor to the house and a trip to the hospital the last two nights).

X is very distraught because the doctor told her that unless this can be sorted out quickly she will not be going on her excursion next week (major excursion 1000kms away, including a flight on an aeroplane).

I do have a praise to add to that though. Our doctor told us it would be about two weeks before X could see a specialist.

X cried on the way home, but I told her to start praying that God would make a way for her to see one sooner.

I rang the first name on the list of specialists our doctor recommended and got an appt for this afternoon @ 3.30pm.

My brother's wife and kids just moved to Houston last week. My brother didn't have a job there, so he was going to stay here. They arrived Saturday and he got a company transfer today! He will only be separated from his wife and children for about a month!

I want to thank you all for prayers.
Here are the updates and praises!
Computer had crashed, my brother (computer geek LOL) sent me a restore CD and guided me through it over the phone, which is a huge statement as to his patience, mercy and wisdom (I am such a computer dork.

). So I am now in the process of getting it all up and running but the first thing I wanted to do was come here and give hugs and thank you to all of you.

Rick was on the verge of just quitting his company he has been building for the last several years when just out of the blue (that's how God does it sometimes..hee hee), he landed a contract with a major house siding company who has more houses in this area than he can do in a year!

I also started working!
I am the transport driver for a company who places at need children in foster homes through out my state. It is a Christian organization and gives me awesome opportunity to witness to children who are caught up in the system!

We had been given 30 day notice to vacate our home as "the landlord wanted to put the house on the market". We prayed and cried and I told God I loved this house and really didn't want to move and would He please soften the landlords heart and change it so we could stay?
A week ago we were informed he "had changed his mind and would like to give us the opportunity to renew our lease and stay!"

My mother in laws' cancer (lung tumor and liver lesions) are now nearly shrunk to nothingness!!!!

GOD IS AWESOME!!
