PS. I hope you aren't offended by that.

Of course I am.

What's a trolly good for except to be offended or to be offensive?

As our stolen motto goes:

A little song,
A little dance,
A little seltzer,
Down your pants.

and here I thought it was "Remember Remember the Fifth of November"...

Hiya Carlee...

LOL! this thread is here cause it is our warped, strange sense of humor that gets us in trouble. We don't TRY to be trolls but sometimes our witty comments get us in trouble like that.

hehehehehehehe

Hey Jimbo! A troublemaker search committee- funny, My 16yo daughter said that if we were leaving perhaps we should use that freedom to point out that everyone else is walking on eggshells around this group you know "Stir the waters" she said. Uh huh- trouble maker.

~e

This is one reason that hardly a week has gone by that I haven't thought longingly of you trolls! I am so tired to tears of being told that I have no sense of humor because I don't laugh when people think I should is becoming almost more than I can bear!

I definitely have been getting into more "trouble" with my mouth and lack of a "proper" sense of humor since I saw you'alls last. Heckling the TV or arguing with uh...them there dems...is a poor substitute for trolldom.

Which reminds me...my dd trolled a woman about 6 months on the subject of gambling and made her feel so guilty with those few simple, honest words that she spoke that the woman told me recently that she has not gambled since.

...looks like I still don't write easily in reasonable sentences. Is there a Gnome about who can teach me how to not post in one long, drawn-out sentence like MS Office doesn't like....uh, I think it protests a bit if you have more than fifty words? Maybe it is more like thirty. I would have to look.

Hello and Nighty-nite!

Hello and Nighty-nite!

HOWDY KAREN!!!!!!!!!! Welcome.... HOME!

Age-wise, you have a LONG time before you catch up with where I am, but the older I get the longer winded I seem to be. But there was a time, long, long ago, when I was perfectly content to write, "Neener, neener, neener," and felt it said all that needed to be said.

Should I have mentioned that I'm easily offended?

I must confess that I have mixed feelings about the wisdom of my presence here. Last night, as I was going to sleep, I had a vision of a donkey in black-face passing by. Now I am haunted by this.

Since it is illegal for me to interpret this vision, I am sorely troubled and in need of an interpreter.

Heeeeeee-Haaaaw!

I can't see the colors in the above color tab. Just another of many technical problems I've been faced with since last Friday.

I find it so very difficult to even say that one name out loud.....biiiiiiiden. Sounds like hiiiiiidin, which is what I thought he should have done permanently after making a fool and public spectacle of himself during the Anita Hill trial. When a senator makes Sen. Ted Kennedy look like the pick 'a' da litter...

No one believes that elephants don't forget.
That man's behavior and mouth caused my best cookbook to get broken in half.

Didya catch that trip (or two or three?) that the prestigious donkey made to Montana? He got in on a Pow-Wow on the res with the Crow. There was a rumour that he wanted to make another trip to our res.

Why? Any theories from you smart trolls, real or imagined?

We had a sunflower bloom this year! It is the first flower we have had actually bloom in Montana. My hh has a pic of it on his phone. I covered it with a sheet and a small piece of light-weight blanket tonight. The temp is falling toward 20 degrees and I just don't know if it will survive long enough for the seeds to mature.

Ezri, I had a feeling that your hh would be going over there and I had prayed that it would be along such lines.

Lest I overwhelm you with too much babble all at once, I'm gonna shuush now.

I try very hard to ignore donkey shenanigans so I don't hit something or shoot at anything. I also have managed to not look at my poor old 401K that was just approaching useful figures after 27 years of my contributing money that I could barely spare in the first place.

Gloom, despair, and agony on me.
Deep dark depression, excessive misery.
If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.
Gloom, despair, and agony on me.

Such a loverly troll anthem, don't ya think?

I have sang that classic tune in awhile. I do have sympathy for trolls who have 401K's and have been trying for oh so very long to behave themselves financially.

I am expecting them to ruin my joy soon, as they always do. We are soooooo overdue for a real correction for the economy, but they don't want that at any cost.

I shop at the grocery store according to the price. Things my family think they can't live without, like orange juice, stays on the shelf. Vitamin C tablets will suffice for now.

Our car sits in the driveway. The dirty electric company will not get more from us this year, but hopefully less from us than last year. They ripped off everyone about $100 - 300, depending on your average bill, when they installed the digital meters. Flathead County has a class action suit going against them for it. Our county doesn't. Such is life. I hate the electric company, after listening to their lying for the past...since 1984. That was the year I got wrongly shut off and they could not tell the truth. Then I was charged for the after hours job of turning it back on in the same day. That was in Chicago. Since they sold out the electric company to outsiders here, it has ceased to be any friendlier.

Which reminds me...I haven't heard anything for awhile about the issue of Canada trying to supply electricity to us, in such a way that areas of the Northern U.S. would be totally dependent on Canada for their electrical power. How can any normal troll stomach that idea?

Our president is so very lucky these days that I am not his wife. At best, I'd like to tell him

Don't let the door hit ya where the dog shoulda bit ya!!!

Our utility company just got an 8% rate increase.

I haven't had a PAY increase since 2005 - and that was before I took a 33% paycut in a new job after a layoff from the last one!

Does your electric co. also crank up the cost each winter?

Pay has not kept pace with prices since about 1984? The more people have gotten giddy with the idea that

we don't need paper money anymore!

the bigger the spread between pay and price has become.

Did you hear the donkey (who is in the spotlight) when he moaned about the poor teacher who is only making $37 thou a year? The poor thing! How will she ever make ends meet? Shucks! I am confident that very few teachers in Montana even come close to making that much money.

Down here in deepest Alabamy, winter usually isn't too bad on the pocket.

The way the economy is going, $37K won't buy a meal at McD's this time next year.

But I'm predicting that whichever party wins this election won't have anyone in the White House in the following 12 to 16 years. And the Congress will shift bad to Republican control.

$25,000 is the average income in Montana. I am really tired of moderates being the only ones to "compete" (Haa!) for offices.

I am embarrassed by our Dem Governor. He acted like his usual clown self in the dems convention this summer. He voted against that lovely purse that the President handed out last week because he said it didn't go far enough.

The Republicans in my state have given up on trying to get that new Driver registration accomplished in our state.

I'm curious as to whether you have been seeing towns and cities moving to this "City Manager" form of government. I am against it. It renders the city council members powerless and removes what slight say-so the citizens have left. At least that is what I have seen out here.

I am having problems trying to get Adobe products to download. Later!

How much y'all pay for a gallon of milk? Can you get a loaf of bread for under $1.25 anymore, anywhere?

I just downloaded an update to the desktop and told my AVG anti-virus to run it. It worked. I haven't figured out how to make its update program work yet. What fun.

What fun, what fun.

Well trolls, are you going to sit tight with your 401k's?

We are leaving our thrift savings plan alone and continuing to put the same% of our pay into it each month. No change... BUT we are young and know that time is on our side. That and we were old enough to remember my dad bailing on Black Monday back in the 80's and getting pennies on the dollar then w/i 5 years kicking himself mercilessly about having done it. He still mutters about it from time to time.

Electric bills- ours actually went down after the digital meter went in *shrug*. I can tell ya I used the AC more this year too Jerry was gone more last summer and seems every time he'd leave the stupid thing'd freeze up. So there'd be a 2-3 day stent with no AC here til it thawed and the water all drained and all.

Funny thing? we were at the PX last night and they had 2 big flat screens going. One on CNN one on Fox both with the sound down low but still audible. Both played a clip of a certain skinny man with an odd name(that I know some trolls do searches for just so they can give folks grief so I won't mention it- Being a troll helps you know... we can almost imagine what the others are up to.) ANYWAY- the one had a portion of him saying That's not how it should be at the same time as the other had a clip saying YES, that's how it should be! It was kinda funny- even my 16yo sat and laughed at the way it came out.
