And this thread qualifies to be in "humour and games" in what way? I'm trying to be a "troll."

Hiya Carlee...

LOL! this thread is here cause it is our warped, strange sense of humor that gets us in trouble. We don't TRY to be trolls but sometimes our witty comments get us in trouble like that.

hehehehehehehe

Hey Jimbo! A troublemaker search committee- funny, My 16yo daughter said that if we were leaving perhaps we should use that freedom to point out that everyone else is walking on eggshells around this group you know "Stir the waters" she said. Uh huh- trouble maker.

Hi ezri & April! Come to think about it, I haven't been using sunscreen lately...

I posted this over in Current Events, but they don't seem to appreciate the gravity of the situation:

I'm sick of all the whining about gas prices at the pump. The more serious issue is the possible extinction of Florida's treasured icon, the plastic Pink Flamingo.

That's right, the price of petroleum also affects the production of plastic and people are cutting back on luxury purchases like plastic Pink Flamingos.

In fact, the Everglades' largest employer, Fernando's Pink Flamingo Factory, has cut it's work force in half so that workers are having to perform multiple functions. Like the people normally responsible for positioning the signature raised left leg are having to also paint the left eye.

Another $2 increase in oil will likely result in the closure of the entire manufacturing facility. That will cause the dreaded extinction of the plastic Pink Flamingo and forever change America as we know it.

From the USA to London!

That's best news I have heard in a long time!
If I owned a tree on my property, I would run out and hug it.

Do you ever hear anything from Euty? He didn't even tell us that he was going to vanish. How rude. (And that's not like him.)

I have been enjoying reading "Snarkiness 101" and "The easily offended".
I constantly offend myself though because I'm not 'Snarky' enough to post in either of those great threads. If I could, I would give "Snars" to Jimbo though.

ezri, how are your kiddo's doing? It would be nice to see their faces once in a while. And how are your roses?

Well, that's about it. Everything else isn't 'fit to print'.

Kids are doing great- You know the normal trying to kill each other off stuff but still doing well.

The roses are suffering this year from lack of attention, but God has given them blossoms just when I am feeling down- A reminder that he really is in control. I need to come up with a way to deal with the chiggers(which I have developed a horrible sensitivity to in the last 2 years) so that I can get out there and work.

Jerry is getting ready to deploy to Iraq.

Trill Graduated this year---> Photo from our Homeschool Groups Graduation Ceremony

Triss begging for more icecream at her Sweet Sixteen birthday party.

Jeremiah, Jeromy, and JD in this shot touring the Queen Anne's Revenge Conservation Site at ECU

That leaves Jared

Now you have seen us all.

It is sooo great to see the pictures ~~ ~~ My how they have grown, particularly Jared! How tall is he?

Jerry is going to Iraq? I didn't know that.
I'm already praying for him and for you.

I love this about your roses---

Great pix, Ezri. Will be praying along with April.

It does seem weird to come in here and not see a lot of the people here...MJ, Euty...he doesn't even visit his thread you-know-where, at least not last time I looked...

We are still in California. Yes, too still, it seems. The weather is so hot, so you don't want to do much. And we should be moving, and here we are...still...oh, so still. I'm sure someone will have something to say to jog me to alertness or something like it.

Some bright news, our daughter is going to take nurses training. She has tried it twice before, but each time a baby came along there was a delay. Well, now she has four, and is going to take two classes a semester in the nursing course. I don't know how, but, God bless her, she's going to make a grand attempt. Makin' us proud is what she is.

How exciting to come in here and find you, Joy!
No wonder you are proud of your daughter.

Yep, this po' old thread keeps limping on. Ahhh it can be dark for weeks and then all of a sudden... !

I'm gonna try to wake some people ~~~
Think that will help? Probably not.

It's about 5:00 AM. I've been up for an hour and it's shower time...

Not whining though since that's how Mom usually refers to me... "Here are all my good, sweet daughters ...and others, too."

An other just popped in!

Jimbo, I was going to notify you via e-mail/pm that you have been missed and now I don't have to! My day is going to be sweet!

Didja know that you make me laugh?
I would send you a trillion snars, but I have only one snar left so I'm keeping it to myself.

PS. I hope you aren't offended by that.

Of course I am.

What's a trolly good for except to be offended or to be offensive?

As our stolen motto goes:

A little song,
A little dance,
A little seltzer,
Down your pants.
