Name: David Waggoner

Gender: Male

Residence: Maryland suburbs of DC, formerly of Buchanan and Lansing Michigan

Occupation: Cartographer, formerly Tool and Die engineer

Status: Married with 4 children spread across 12 time zones - the youngest is a college sophmore

Avocation: Music. I was a worship leader at my last congregation in MI. My wife and I put out a CD of original worship music about 10 years ago. I play bass in our worship band here and my wife plays piano.

Ecclesiastical history: I became a believer at 7 after my father and mother broke up. We went to a small independant pentecostal church. When I went to college (Michigan State) I found a discipleship congregation near campus And was there for 13 years. I then moved back to my hometown and was co-worship leader for 11 years and elder for 5 years in a WOF congretation that my mom and step-dad helped found during my time in Lansing. Seven years ago we moved here to the east coast at the Lord's instruction and are now in a Messianic congregation.

Amy

27 yrs. old

Joined CW a couple months ago, but have lurked for several years.

I accepted Christ 8 years ago.

Currently attending a non-denomination church.

I consider New Mexico my home, but am living in Oklahoma City for now.

Employed by University of Oklahoma (GO SOONERS!), but we're contracted to do work for the state.

Enjoy reading, swimming, roadtrips, long discussions with friends and spoiling my nephew (Ethan).

Ministry goals: I haven't been given the 'go ahead' from God yet but am interested in starting a group for individuals that have left abusive churches. As someone that's been through this, I know it's difficult to find a church home that you feel comfortable in again and that you can walk into expecting only good things. My hope is to start a group that's a transition group...sort of like a halfway house...where people come for fellowship and study, but have the safety of knowing there are others that have been there and are living full, happy and purposeful lives.

I'm Micah. Almost 31, single.
From Oregon, but currently living and working in Ecuador as a missionary with a large radio ministry. In fact, I'm on the site of the world's first ever missionary radio broadcast! I do computer work.
Love travel, board games, hiking, computers, and defending the accuracy of the Bible. I am currently studying to be a volunteer apologist with Reasons to Believe, with a possible 12-month goal of starting a local chapter here in Ecuador.

I was raised Mennonite. Now I'm not too tied to a denomination, but my sending church is Christian & Missionary Alliance. A mix of contemporary songs with a few of the best hymns thrown in is great!

Hello friends,

My name is Evan and I will be entering my sophomore year at Gordon College, MA (just outside Boston) with a concentration in Computer Science. I have a strong appreciation for the arts, in particular music. I play the violin (both acoustic and electric) as well as the mandolin, currently involved with a band that is trying to help bridge the gap between mainstream and Christian music. I'm also a fan of writing, hiking, kayaking, and wandering around cities talking to random people. People fascinate me in general, so feel free to contact me.

Wow!! Like a few others, I've just found this thread!

I'm Pamela
I'm originally from Michigan, currently living and working in The Netherlands (Europe) as a secretary for the Department of Defense. I've been living in Europe for just over eight years this month.
I'm 39, single, and no kids.
I'm prior military (US Army) and I've been out for almost five years.
I'm a member of a non-denominational church.
I like to do many things....like traveling, reading, playing games on the computer (and on my Game Boy Advanced), being on the internet, chatting, etc, etc.
I've been a part of CW for over a year and Christianity.com for less than a year before the merge.

It's nice to meet you all especially the newbies.

Been with CW for about a week now I guess

I do not currently have a church home. I work with a couple of youth groups and such but I am looking for a good reformed church in the philly area.

Hello Adam, there's a church plant in my area founded by a PCA church in Philly. It goes by Christ Community Church. The founding elder is son of eldership from the Philly church and is a great friend and family. I can find out more for you if you like.

49 3/4 yrs. approaching fffffifty, there I said it.

Single Mum of three, 16, 6 and 4, with ring and attachments, married 28 yrs.

Lurk mostly, generally post unfinished discussion contributions due to
other distractions and limited sit time mostly seeking wisdom and
sometimes tenatively relationships. I've learned some discussions move
really fast, must faster than I can keep up.

UMC,Baptist,Christian, Mennonite background but investigating RT,
currently visiting an OPC fellowship

Interests? I'm trying to remember. Someday when I have time to collect my thoughts they'll come back to me I'm sure. Right now I'm reading alot and starting some scrapping. On the fringes of my memory I sense gardening, counted needlework, sewing, pleasure cookery, See? if I really reach in there I know they are still lurking waiting to jump back in the fray.

What a great forum! To be honest, I just don't always get where you "guys" are coming from. Being that I have recently re-entered the dating scene, it would be nice to get some spirit led feed back to shed some light on my confusion.

Obviously I am female
I am 39 the first time
I am married with 2 boys (6 & 8) and a girl (age 21) and a 14 yo SS.
I live in the northwest.

I have been lurking at CW for many years (7 or 8 years).

I accepted Christ as Lord at the age of 10, and though the journey has been a bumpy ride at times, the companionship and personal guide is well worth the trip.

Hey everyone.

I'm in my mid-30's. I have a great wife (gender question and marital question). Originally from Ohio....lived all over the country, Virginia, both Carolinas, California, Arizona, to name a few. Living in Brazil now. Obviously I like to travel....also love to study the Word, preach, music, playing trumpet/guitar. Called to pastoring and missions. No kids yet, want to wait a while. Been a believer for 12 years, with a couple of rebellious periods here or there, but haven't we all in some way?

Attend a non-denom church here in Brazil. When I visit the States I go to a Vineyard church or non-denom, depending on the city.

Work for an international engineering firm, all types of structures, but mostly pharmaceutical laboratories. Waiting for God to open doors for full time ministry. Love my job now, but desire the work of the Lord.

Fairly new to CW....less than a month. Love the site though!!!

Feel free to contact me with corrections or questions.....I like to try to stay humble....easier to learn that way!!

Bless you in the loving name of our Lord Jesus.
