Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. My favorite episode is the one with the late Don LaFontaine (the guy who did the voice on all those movie trailers): Listen here. This American Life is somewhat hit-or-miss, but when it's good, it's really good. -Dan.

I always really liked listening to Thru The Bible with J. Vernon McGee. It's on every weeknight, so it only take 1 year, not 5.

Ah, I was thinking that this was about old radio shows for some reason. I was getting ready to name off some good oldies, like The Lux Radio old shows, etc. I like Dr. Laura and Adventures in Odyssey.

Best radio talk show - Dennis Prager. He's the most intelligent, insightful and thoughtful. Glen Beck is the most entertaining. For political insight, Rush is still king.

Ah, I was thinking that this was about old radio shows for some reason. I was getting ready to name off some good oldies, like The Lux Radio old shows, etc. AFAIC go for it. I've been watching those mid 60s Green Hornet TV shows and would love to hear the radio drama. As far as modern shows: "Eddie Trunk Live" on XM's The Boneyard (Monday 6-10 PM). Four hours of classic rock & metal talk with interviews and music thrown in. Love it. Coolest moment: in an interview with Alice Cooper Alice was telling him about some of his experiences and successes and mentioned his 32 year marriage in passing. Eddie responded by saying that out of all the things Alice just said the most remarkable was the long lasting marriage. I usually don't talk to the TV but I was saying "Amen" on that. That was just so cool. I also like when he says that when bands break up that the first priority is for them to make amends as people then if they decide they want to reunite, great but the personal relationship is first. The priorities are straight with him.

I've got to put in a vote for "PowerPoint with Jack Graham" on the radio (cause he's my pastor!) also Mark Levin...usually listen to him during my 45 minute ride home from work....most days. Here in Dallas, we have a GREAT morning news team on WBAP...the News & Talk of Texas, AM 820....it's a "must listen" on the way TO work.....
