Certainly a lot depends on how Obama's first term goes in the White House, but what do people think of Hillary's chances in future Pres. elections and politics in general?

I think she'll still be a powerhouse and it will be interesting to see how she positions herself politically after this year. I think she is very strong-minded and has a definite agenda and liberal vision that will still excite her base and is still very much embraced by the Left/Dems - including Obama supporters. I felt her downfall and loss to Obama was more about her campaigning tactics and persona rather than the issues per se. Her record and agenda on liberal/Dem issues have always been popular with the Left.

I am not a Hillary supporter. But in all fairness I think she did very well. To be honest I believe she should have been the presidential nominee rather than Obama. I think she is still a force to be reckoned with. I know of a lot of people who would have voted for Obama if he had chosen Hillary. She is intelligent, she knows her way around Washington, and she can get things done. It will interesting to see how the press will treat her.

Unless for what ever reason, Pres Elect Obama is unable to run a second term (health, death, very poor numbers, ect) Sen Clinton is done as a Presidential contender. She is in her early 60's now, that would put her in her 70's in 8 years. While America would probably be willing to elect a woman, a woman in her 70's would be something completely different. As it is, I am willing to bet that despite this being only her second term in the Senate, I would be willing to bet that Sen Clinton soon finds her self as Senate Majority leader/Senate Pro Temp, or possibly in President Obama's cabinet (Sec of Health and Human Services anyone?)

Interesting thought. That national health care system could get passed after all.
