I was just curious as to why my "Post #" gets smaller--even though I post all the time.
I used to have over 1,000 posts listed on the "info" side of my posts. (Where your name, avatar, join date and status are.)
Now it says I only have 611. If I don't post for a while, it shrinks even more.
Do your posts get deleted after a certain amount of time?

Yes, all threads (aside from one-stops, FAQs, etc) are purged after one year of inactivity.
If you post on a steady basis, you probably will not notice it, but it if, say, a year ago you posted a lot in a chat or game thread and it gets purged overnight, you will definitley notice a difference.
