I just read on another website, that Tom Surrett, father of former Kingsman Tim Surrett, has passed away.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2008, at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton, NC.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P. O. Box 21475, St. Petersburg, FL 33742.
Visitation: Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008
Service: Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008
Cemetery: Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery
I met Tom several times, and he was a joy to be around. Tim certainly inherited his father's sense of humor, and love of life. My prayers go out to Tim, his mother Carolyn, his three sisters, and all the Surrett family.
