Even in bad times, God is faithful. He always provides for us.

As Thanksgiving approaches, what are some of the things you will be thanking Him for this year?

I am thanking Jesus for a wonderful, faithful, faith-filled husband. I am thanking Jesus for His constant provision. I am thanking Jesus for health. Most of all I am thanking Jesus for His sacrifice that I might have eternal life.

I am thankful to God for my supportive and understanding husband,
my five beautiful healthy children,
For walking me through a bout with cancer,
for comforting us through a failed adoption,
For our new thermal mass wood stove,
For my friends at CW who love and care for us,
For a wonderful time with FOT
For Aunt Shirley and my mom who lives with us.
For taking care of my brother who is struggling.

When I think of what I am thankful for this year, I cannot help but cry, I am overwhelmed.

I am thankful for:

a warm safe place to live
a husband who loves me dearly, even when I'm not so loveable. =)
a family that has always loved me and allowed me to be me, and who I'll (Lord willing) be with for Christmas
an alternative to painful surgeries for David, that allows him to walk pain free, or pretty close to it!
Friends who are there for me
a job that I usually even like!
stable finances
God's faithfulness even in the midst of trials (we've had some major ones this year)

< cheesey sentiment > the Mercy of God- caring enough for me to provide the gift of the sun on my face and the Grace of God for providing the salvation that makes the air that I breathe all the more sweet. < /cheesey sentiment >

My wife, my job, my friends, my family. I'm also thankful for the opportunity to live in a country where I am free to live, work, assemble and worship as I choose; and I'm thankful for God's direction in these choices that are mine to make. That's all for now. :-)

I am thankful that I live in a country with the freedom to worship the true God and to determine which doctrine is correct, rather than having it dictated to me.

I am thankful for the gift of salvation and that the Lord chose me to be part of His family.

I am thankful that I can rely on the Lord for all of my needs and not live in fear.

I am thankful that my husband talked me into having children.

I am thankful for my family and friends.

I could go on and on. There are so many things to be thankful for.

I am thankful for many things. Since I just listed a bunch in my blog, I won't quote them all here but I'm very thankful for my home, family, church, friends, job, co-workers and so much more!!!

Well, I hope this isn't cheesy, but my favorite Veggie Tales song is the Thankful song (entire song here)

I thank God for this day,
For the sun in the sky,
For my mom and my dad,
For my piece of apple pie!

For our home on the ground,
For His love that's all around,
That's why I say thanks every day!

Because a thankful heart is a happy heart!
I'm glad for what I have,
That's an easy way to start!

Veggie Tales are never cheesy. Unless they're eating Mr. Twisty's Twisty Cheese Curls.

I am thankful for many things both good and bad.
Past year has had ups and downs and starting to refocus daily.

I have some overall thanksgiving thoughts on my blog http://peacebringer7.wordpress.com/2008/11/27/thanksgiving-reflections/ which I am thankful for being obedient to God.
I know God really wants us to be thankful at all times, and not just on days like today. It is very against our natural tendencies though.

I am thankful that the Lord uses all things in my life for His glory and my eternal benefit. It is good that He never leaves me or forsakes me.
