Last night a strange man knocked on my door. He was big (6'2 250 lbs). He looked about 20-25 years old. He was in "army" camouflage-type clothes. He had a huge metal flash light in his hands. I wouldn't open the door. (I just looked through the little window in the door.) He acted like he was trying to ask me something--but he was only moving his lips. I couldn't hear anything he said. I guess he wanted me to open the door so I could hear him. Instead, I shouted through the door that I "couldn't help him" and he needed to leave. He stared at me for a little while, then turned and left. It was about 10 pm. Anyway--I feel like there's something going on in my life right now that's weird/negative. It's hard to explain. I just feel like I'm under spiritual attack. I also had a guy stalking me for a while (mentioned in another thread here). He was a guy I had hired to work in my yard and I had sat with at Karaoke for a short time. (But, we were never boyfriend/girlfriend.) He was calling my cell phone and leaving creepy messages. He seems to have given up and is leaving me alone (at this time). And I've decided to never go to Karaoke again. (That way I won't run into him in a social setting.) I've felt so creeped-out lately. And it's not only due to the things happening in my life. I feel a heaviness around me--if that makes sense. I'm not really depressed, I'm more jumpy because I don't quite understand what's going on. It's like there's something there--yet there isn't. It's hard to describe. I haven't felt this way since my husband passed away and his cell phone wouldn't stop ringing even though the battery was dead and it had been turned off by the phone company a year before. Sorry this is so long. Please pray for a covering of protection from Jesus for me! I know that He will protect me from these strange situations in my life. Thanks! C J edit for spelling error

Yes, I will pray for you. Heavenly Father, Thank you Lord that you care for us when we are fearful and that through you Lord Jesus, we can find refuge from the stronghold of fear. Lord, encourage Chrystal-J to draw near to you at all times and cling to your promise that you will never leave her, nor forsake her. Lord your protection is needed physically and spiritally to fight off the heaviness and fear that has set itself up against her. Guide her in wisdom to seek physical protection if need be. Stalking and a stranger at the door of a widow can be frightening and action may need to be taken, like alerting the police if need be. May she know not to over-react, but to not under estimate any the situations that could possibly be a threat. Help her rest and not be anxious for anything, but know that your grace is sufficient even in times like these. May she know your comfort and peace tonight, as she rests surrounded by your safe keeping...in Jesus name.

I just wanted to say that I'm feeling better--less jumpy. I know I have to stay vigilant and not let down my guard. Cuz we know that Satan's roaming like a lion looking for people to destroy. But, I feel better than I did yesterday and I'm sure it's because of your prayers.

Praying in agreement with the others for peace in your life, Chrystal. I know with my own phone, as the battery strength gets lower and lower the phone will chirp and scold me about wanting to be recharged- not a true ringtone, just like R2D2 a little, a whole range of different noises. You may have heard that even with the phone completely turned off as the battery slowly dropped voltage. This is just a guess as to what you were hearing. It's kind of like a smoke detector when it wants a new battery. Those things will 'click-chirp' for months.

Except the phone had been left on and the battery had been dead for a year. Plus, it was his ring tone and a number would come up on the screen. But, when you tried to answer it, it would just be static and the screen would swirl around. I guess the creepy/weird part was that the phone just sat quietly in the drawer all year, then the day after my husband passed--it started ringing. (I know what you mean about chirping but, his was a distinctive song.) I don't know if it was just a odd electrical situation or what, but it made me feel strange. Once I started heavy into prayer though, I felt a lot better. Thanks for your prayers!
