I know oodles of people on this board would prefer a Palin/Mccain ticket instead of Mccain/Palin. Is this a sign of things to come, or is a liberal media trying to turn people off in the last few days. Basically - do you think this is a real issue? quote:
Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue." quote:
This adviser also decried the double standard, noting that Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama's running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, has gone off the reservation as well, most recently by telling donors at a fundraiser that America's enemies will try to "test" Obama. Sources say there is brewing tension between McCain aides and Palin Is she trying to get in position for 2012, or is this just hot air? WormHeart

WormHeart View anything you hear or read coming from our media with a great deal of skepticism. It is filled with dishonest people. Here is a recent example. Byron York wrote in National Review that, "Watching press coverage of the Republican candidate for vice president, it's sometimes hard to decide whether Sarah Palin is incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt, backward, or - or, well, all of the above." Drew Griffin of CNN confronted her in a interview and told her that a conservative writer said she was "...incompetent, stupid, unqualified..." It was a clear distortion of York's commentary on the media's unfair portrayal of Palin. Dishonesty is a common characteristic among so-called journalists.

Is she trying to get in position for 2012, or is this just hot air? Hot air ... I saw an interview by an nonpartisan interviewer, whom I really could not discern whether he was for or against McCain/Palin and a number of the staffers, and they were all taken by surprise, because they have not witnessed anything like it. None could even begin to guess who would say such a thing. ... not to mention the source for the original story is very pro Obama. ... definitely hot air.

ORIGINAL: WormHeart Is she trying to get in position for 2012, or is this just hot air? WormHeart Both , now and the future. She initially tried to play nice and be a team player , but now , in favor of her own judgement which has served her exceedingly well as governor, is taking things into her own hands and disregarding the Bush election "handlers" who tried to box and package her. Peggy noonan, in spite of her reservations has said that Palin is not a person of deep thought, but of action and she is acting on her instincts and the adivce of those she trusts. The RNC did her no favors by buying those clothes without her knowledge and CNN blasting her with it's yellow journalism and "anonymous" sources was disgusting. This is an uphill battle against the wind for her and McCain.

Debates would be on pay-per-view and Joe Rogan would be the commentator. -Dan. ROTFLOL! I think she's looking out for her own hide. She knows she's on a sinking ship but know she has the best platform she'll ever get to launch herself into the national political stage. She'll be running at least for the Senate, a la Hillary, maybe even set up residency in another state. My hope is that she becomes a political pariah for her party and ten years from now we are saying Sarah who?

It's just propaganda from the left. Palin supports McCain. And I would support a Huckabee/Palin ticket as well. Or, even a Palin/Huckabee ticket.
