This is totally disgusting!!!!!!! (in my opinion) WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES OPRAH WINFREY KNOW ABOUT POLITICS!!!!!!?????!!! A blurb and a link follows:

WASHINGTON---As the odds are improving that Barack Obama will win the White House two weeks from today, there is speculation over what role pal Oprah Winfrey will play in an Obama administration.
A blog in the Financial Times guessed--with nothing but vapor for back up-- that Winfrey would be tapped to be ambassador to England.

If this doesn't sell you on McCain, does it sell the idea not to vote for Obama?

Why in the world would she want to be an Ambassador? IMO, sounds like a good way to get her out of the country for a few years. I would think she'd much prefer to be the President's spiritual advisor, though. I'm doubting Billy Graham will get many calls from a President Obama.

You know, ironically, this news story actually changed me from a non-decided voter to a voter NOT for obama.. im not kidding.
Oprah Winfrey is so power hungry, Im not suprised in a way, but she has to have her way.. Remember that time she got mad and huffy and a hissy fit when that store in chicago did not oepn for her after hours? She got all upset that they did not wait on her.. She thinks she is a queen or something.
Oprah makes mccain look mighty good now. And you know how i have been speaking about mccain! all you mccainers maybe ought to thank obama for this oprah winfrey connection.

This is old news really because Winfrey has already mentioned she wants nothing to do with the White House, doesn't want a special title or anything, she just believes Obama is the better choice. I find it interesting that none of you find issue with Rush, Sean, or any of those other big-named talk-show conservatives, look at what they done in conjuntion with the current president, and how they're doing it right now in this current election. I'm sure they'll have more than some pull over things within the White House like they have with this current administration.
