I may be much older than you but I too like Disciple as my daughter is a fan of theirs. She has been to one of their concerts and apparently they are very good live. I see they have a new album out but I've yet had a chance to listen to it. Kevin has a great voice and it will be interesting to hear their new guitarist play with them.

I'm a fan.
I've only seen them live once, but I would love to see them again. They put on a very intense live show!

I like them, don't love them, I like them, I have seen them live and yes, they put on a better live show than 75% of lesser known Christian bands, very high energy, Kevin is a fire-y preacher.

Although I never knew about these guys until their next to last album (self-titled) I acquired all their discology within weeks. They are one of my favorite bands in CCM.
My favorite albums are the self-titled special edition with the EP "Things Left Unsaid" with DVD and the other favorite is "This Might Sting A Little". I don't like everything they have done but overall a great band!
I think that they are now concentrating on quality not just quantity of songs. Haven't seen those 15-20 song albums in a while!

Disciple is a great band!
Ive seen them live 4 times, and each show was completely amazing.
They love Jesus a lot, and it shows greatly in their singing/preaching
you hear at every show. They have a great sound as well.

Same here. Our oldest really digs them as do my wife and I since we're both ex-metalheads.
We've seen them once in concert (in Baltimore) and we're potentially going to their Halloween night concert next week.

Listened to their new one "Southern Hospitality" on Napster last night. It's good but there were times when I was having musical deja vu (like I heard it before) and I hate when that happens!
Some of the songs sounded like they where off their earlier stuff with just a few changes. It still rocks and kicks over a lot of other stuff, but I hope this doesn't signal a musical rut for them.

they seem to come to the Twin Cities about 2x a year.. they put on a good live show.. great guys too. If in minneapolis area check out Club 3 Degrees. I think they are coming again in the next couple of months...
